Your first experience with Chester River Behavioral Health will likely be with our Administrative Office. We streamline our intake process so that your call for a first appointment is fast, efficient, and private. We navigate the insurance system in a way that makes your part easier, such as obtaining authorizations on your behalf and tracking changes in your mental health benefits. Our Billing Manager is your liasion with the insurance company, monitoring your billing file for accuracy and addressing problems that may arise regarding denials, appeals, coordination of benefits, etc.
Unlike many medical offices, Chester River Behavioral Health maintains two separate files in order to protect your privacy. The Administrative Office has no access to the file your therapist uses to document psychotherapy sessions. This Clinical file is accessible to no one other than your therapist.
You will find our Administrative staff to be respectful, friendly and courteous, and always available to answer questions and discuss any billing/insurance/administrative concerns you may have.
